Isle of Man

DearREADERS,
Another follow-up for last night’s DearMYRTLE’s Salt Lake Study Group includes information about Isle of Man genealogy research suggestions. Here are some items Ol’ Myrt found in her search of the web.

Archives & Libraries - National Archives & Library – Isle of Man (Manx National Heritage) “Due to the volume of enquiries received and limited staff and resources we are unable to offer a research service to enquirers. Off Island researchers will need to arrange for a local agent to work on their behalf.” See also Sources for Family History “Anyone considering research on their family history is strongly recommended to consult The Manx family tree: A beginner's guide to records in the Isle of Man by Janet Narasimham (3rd Edition 2000) ISBN 0 9523 9630 0.”
